WP Remote’s New Add Site API: Onboard Multiple Sites Quickly and Easily
Spending hours maintaining client sites?
WP Remote will streamline your WordPress maintenance process and save you at least 4 hours per site every week.
So you ran a marketing campaign for your agency that became hugely successful. Maybe that spate of referrals worked and several clients have taken up your site management services. That’s great for the business, right? But how do you onboard these clients quickly on your site management plans?
Or perhaps you have acquired another agency. Now you need to reassure the newly acquired clients of your service quality. And the first step to do that is to onboard them quickly. How do you go about doing that?
Manually adding each site to your WP Remote dashboard just won’t cut it. Takes too much time, and you want to get your new customers onboarded asap.
Enter WP Remote’s new Add Site API.
Automate site addition and save time
The new Add Site API simplifies how you add sites to your WP Remote dashboard. Just provide the URLs, and the API handles the rest. This saves precious time so you can focus on more strategic tasks.
It automatically checks for duplicates and whether there is enough space on your existing plan to add a site. Upon adding a site, it shows you when it was added, when it will be synced next, and more. All this ensures you are always in control of your site management.
Note that the Add Site API only adds the sites to your WP Remote account. It does not install the WP Remote plugin on those sites and connect them to your dashboard. You will still have to install the plugin from your dashboard for each added site.
Add more convenience to your workflow
Adding several sites quickly is just one example of how you can manage your websites more conveniently using our APIs. You can also use our GET APIs to pull data from all your managed sites into custom dashboards, reports, and a lot more.
With our APIs, you can use scripts to run these tasks right from the command line. You can even create scripts to get site URLs from text or CSV files and add them to your account. No more copy-pasting hundreds of URLs into the command line. In just a few commands, you can speed up your tasks and reduce mistakes like wrong or missed URLs.
Continuously improving APIs
The Add Site APIs are an extension of our existing API development process. Our GET, POST, and PUT APIs are already in place to aid your existing workflow. We are also developing PATCH and DELETE APIs for even greater interaction with your managed sites.
Try out our APIs today and share any feedback you may have. You can also tell us if you wish to see a specific feature, and we will add it to our growing API framework.
