Introducing Form Testing: Never Lose Data
Spending hours maintaining client sites?
WP Remote will streamline your WordPress maintenance process and save you at least 4 hours per site every week.

Slow sites, broken sites, badly designed sites are all terrible for conversion, but have a chance at recovery. But if your contact form is broken, you’re effectively ghosting your customers.
From the smallest to the largest sites, forms are the single most important communication points.
- Single page brochure with a list of services? Form at the end for leads to fill.
- Massive ecommerce site with thousands of products? Membership form for checkout.
- Everything in between? How about a form for support?
Site forms are important.
So if they break—and you don’t find out quickly enough to fix it—you’re losing revenue.
But how do you know when forms are broken? You need to keep testing them.
Save hours of troubleshooting
There are a million things that can break in the form submission process.
- Maybe your form plugin has glitched, and isn’t saving submissions in the database.
- Maybe the server IP has been flagged, and the email notifications are landing in spam.
- Maybe the integration with your marketing tool has quietly broken down, and the leads are lost.
Because there are so many things that can go wrong, you need a robust testing process with a bunch of test cases. It takes a lot of time to build; and then has to be carried out regularly to be of any use.
In short, it is a lot of effort.
That’s where WP Remote’s Form Testing comes in.

Form Testing runs a gamut of tests against your forms, finding the issue in minutes. Without your spending hours on testing forms manually.
No more missed data
Changes to site plugins or themes can make a previously perfectly functioning form disappear into thin air.
WP Remote sends up an alert if that happens. Even if a single field or button on your form doesn’t load as it should, you’ll get an alert.

UX and messaging on point
Showing the form is only half the battle. Does the submission go through?
Form Testing makes sure that each form submission, well, submits. You don’t want a single submission to be lost, and WP Remote ensures that is the case.
Automate tests in one-click
You can also set how often you want the tests to run. So you can schedule your form testing away from peak traffic times. If an issue pops up, you receive an immediate email alert. This way, you can fix problems fast and keep things running smoothly.

Works out of the box with form plugins
Form Testing supports widely used plugins like Forminator Forms, Formidable Forms, WP Forms Lite, Gravity Forms, and Contact Form 7. Over time, we will expand compatibility for more plugins.
Automatically enabled
If your site is added to WP Remote, you don’t need to do a thing.
All site forms are automatically fetched and added to the test list. They are then checked every 24 hours to ensure they work well.

Another tool for advanced site monitoring
When paired with WP Remote’s Advanced Monitoring, Form Testing makes your site maintenance more efficient. You can manage all key aspects of your site from one place. Check your site’s uptime, SSL status, PHP errors, and more right from the dashboard. Ensure everything works well without needing any manual intervention.
More sophisticated tests to look forward to
As of now, the Form Testing feature is newly launched and in its infancy. We are already working on more sophisticated tests. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
Please chime in with any suggestions or improvements. We are happy to hear feedback.
