Over the past year, we’ve refined the WP Remote dashboard, streamlining workflows, upgrading infrastructure, and making the interface intuitive.
Key site insights are now front and center, every action is two clicks away, and the dashboard has a fresh new look to match its power.
We have worked tirelessly on our proactive security, increasing its effectiveness against threats. We have blocked millions of attacks quietly, against the most vicious hacks in recent WordPress history.
The next aspect we needed to build was our plans, and we’re giving those a revamp for good measure.
Introducing single-site plans
Over the years, we have seen so many customer agencies grow from managing 10 or fewer care plans using WP Remote to 100s if not 1000s of sites.
It has been our privilege to be a partner, and to support that growth with our product.
However, the growth from 10 to 100 is not linear. We have often heard from customers that the jump from one subscription tier to the next is jarring.
Therefore, we have introduced single-site pricing to deepen our support for growth.
If an agency needs to add 2 new sites to WP Remote, the previous 25-site increment in their subscription is excessive. Instead, upgrade the subscription to 2 additional sites only. No need to leave 23 licenses unused.
Many agencies cannot predict how soon they would need more licenses, after all, and it was like leaving money on the table.
Mix and match WP Remote plans as required
As an agency, you could have a wide range of client sites.
Simple, one-pager sites are put on auto-pilot, as they require less investment of time and resources. Complex sites need regular oversight, need better security, and may need custom work on a monthly basis. Mission-critical sites leave zero margin for error, and you treat them accordingly. Every update is tested on staging first, real-time backups are in place, and monitors are set up for multiple important pages.
Each client deserves a care plan that reflects the effort it takes to maintain their site. Our per-site pricing makes it easy to align your WP Remote subscription with your client’s plan, keeping your costs predictable and fair.
Free space for WIP or dev sites
When working on a new build, you still need to manage your work-in-progress sites. A full license is overkill because there is no traffic on the site yet. But you’d like to have basics in place, like updates, for example.
We have built space in the new plans to accommodate these sites; completely free. WP Remote aims to be a toolbox and an extension of your workspace.
You can also use the space to manage the sandbox sites you have around. You can do away with other means of tracking multiple scratchpad sites, and give them the WP Remote treatment, completely free.
Plan restructuring
We are aligning features in the plans. Not all sites need all features, and clients pay according to what they need. Now you can choose plans to match what each client site needs; no more, no less.
At the same time, certain features are essential for every site, so we’ve added those across all paid plans.
- Safe Updates and Visual Regression now come standard. Updates are a critical part of WordPress maintenance, but they can be unpredictable. Visual Regression, our breakout feature, automatically detects even the smallest visual changes after updates, often the ones humans miss. Safe Updates ensures a backup runs first, so you can roll back instantly if something breaks.
- Monitoring tools are also included in every plan, keeping continuous watch over critical site variables and performance.
- White-labeling is now available to everyone, so you can build and promote your agency’s brand from the very start.
We have made our malware removal feature an on-demand one, as most customers go for months without needing it. It is easily available as an add-on the instant it is required.
Each plan has been redesigned to be robust, and you will see each feature list grow in the future.
What does this mean for you?
Nothing changes for existing customers. The new plans apply only to new subscriptions, and additional site licenses.
