“Site does not have the plugin installed” error
If you are getting this error message when the plugin is installed, it is usually indicative of an issue on your site.
WP Remote can return this error when your site returns a response that WP Remote doesn’t understand. Sometimes these can be caused by WP_DEBUG being enabled, or plugins / themes throwing error notices. It can also be caused by a security plugin. Click here to find out more
Ensure WP_DEBUG is set to false and try to connect to the site again. If it successfully connects, then you have a plugin or theme that was producing PHP warnings which was breaking the request.
