Moving any kind of website isn’t easy. All your client’s blogs need to be moved safely without losing any traffic or SEO positions.
You aren’t just moving files. You are moving serialized data, user permissions, and page builder layouts. If one table prefix is wrong, the whole site breaks. If the media library is too big, the server times out.
It’s a fussy, complicated process where a hundred tiny things can go wrong.
But, not anymore. WP Remote turns migration into a simple and automated workflow.
We’ve combined external processing with intelligent data handling to ensure that what you move is exactly what lands.
Handling The Heavy Lifting (So Your Server Doesn’t)
Most migration plugins fail because they use your web server to zip the files. If the site is 50GB, the server will choke.
WP Remote bypasses this. We use the same engine as our plugin Migrate Guru to run the migration on our external servers.
This means you can move a massive site without a single timeout. It means the live site stays up, the server stays cool, and you don’t have to babysit a progress bar.
It Fixes the Messy Details Automatically
Moving the files is the easier of all the steps. Making sure the site works on the new destination is not so easy, usually.
Our engine handles the granular details that usually break sites:
- Links & Layouts: We automatically find and replace all URLs, handling serialized data so your Elementor or Divi layouts don’t break.
- User Fidelity: We ensure every user account, password hash, and permission level is migrated exactly as it was.
- Zero Downtime: Because we move a copy, you can migrate high-traffic sites during the day without losing a single sale.
- Differential Sync: When you need to go live, we compare the old site to the live one and move only the difference and sync the changes, ends up making a difference between 5MB to 5GB.
Move a Site in 10 Minutes or Less
You don’t need FTP credentials or database tools. You just need your backup dashboard.
- From your sites dashboard, select the site you want to move.
- Select ‘Migrate’ in backups.
Select the backup version you want to migrate, you can choose from scheduled backup versions or create an on-demand backup and choose that.
- Enter the destination url.
- Click ‘Continue’
That’s it. The system handles the rest.
It creates the copy, moves it, rewrites the database, and alerts you when it’s ready to go live.
Migrate to Better Hosting
You keep clients on slow servers because the manual effort to move them outweighs the performance benefit.
When you automate the complex parts – large files, serialized data, and zero downtime – you stop making that compromise.
You can finally move your clients to the infrastructure they deserve, standardizing your hosting stack without risking a crash or losing an afternoon.
